- Calculate a linear predictor, L, using gender-specific equations that apply coefficients to these logarithmic values. For males, the equation is:
  * L = (Coef for lnAge * ln(Age)) + (Coef for lnTotalCholesterol * ln(Total Cholesterol)) + (Coef for lnHDL * ln(HDL Cholesterol)) + (Coef for lnSystolicBP * ln(Systolic Blood Pressure)) + (if on hypertension treatment, add the treatedBP Coefficient) + (if smoker, add the smoker Coefficient) + (Coef for lnAge_lnTotalCholesterol * ln(Age) * ln(Total Cholesterol)) + (if smoker, multiply Coef for lnAge_smoker by ln(Age)) + (Coef for lnAge_lnAge * ln(Age)^2) + constant.
  
- For females, the equation is similar, but it excludes the lnAge squared multiplier term and has different coefficients.

- Using the linear predictor L, determine the 10-year risk as a percentage. For males, the risk is calculated as 1 minus (0.9402 raised to the power of exp(L)), and for females, it is 1 minus (0.98767 raised to the power of exp(L)).

- The resulting risk percentage is rounded to two decimal places, offering an easy-to-understand likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease in the next decade.
