Hypersensitivity to bacitracin or its components
Intraocular infections
Do not use bacitracin for the treatment of deep-seated ocular infections or infections likely to become systemic.
Warnings and precautions
Superinfection
Maintain a high level of suspicion, as prolonged use of bacitracin may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms particularly fungi.
