Hypersensitivity to olopatadine or its components
Concomitant use of alcohol or other CNS depressants
Warnings and precautions
Nosebleed, nasal ulcers, nasal septum perforation
Maintain a high level of suspicion, as olopatadine has been associated with an increased risk of local nasal effects. Perform a nasal examination before initiating olopatadine and periodically during treatment.
Somnolence
Use extreme caution in patients performing activities requiring mental alertness, such as driving or operating machinery.
